How much does web development cost?
This is a bit of a difficult question to answer. If your website is pretty standard, meaning only a few pages and a contact form, probably about $2000. Once you start adding in features such as ecommerce, custom plugins, custom animations, etc. it will increase the price. To be honest though, most websites development costs tend to be around $3000 to $5000.
We would be happy to give you a quote before we do any work. We are very good about staying within budget.
Just need a few fixes to your website? We also work hourly at a standard $125/hr.
I'm getting really expensive quotes. How can I save money on development costs?
So, building a website is alot like renovating a house. You can make a best estimate of what it will cost but sometimes unanticipated problems come up that could have never been expected. (Who could have expected termites in this well-built house?!)
Much like these home shows, we also are fine with you doing a little DIY to bring your costs down. WordPress is very easy to navigate, so you can save time and money by perhaps entering all your product descriptions if you have a e-store. Or resizing all your images. Or entering in a complicated set of text. If it’s easy to do and just a matter of time, we’re fine with handing over that aspect of development to you to save you money.
We try very hard to give accurate estimates and that is why we typically give a range of prices that we expect your website to cost.
If a quote we give is too much though, please do not give up!
We are always happy to work with clients to establish an on-going support plan where we can build in the critical tools for your business initially and then phase features in over time. We also recognize that many startups don’t have capital on hand, so we are willing to create a payment plan to get you up and running.

How long does it take to develop a website?
The length of time to finish a website is usually a two or three weeks unless there are some complex features that are more time-intensive.
Need it done quickly? In most cases, we can accommodate you as long as it is a reasonable timeframe. We’re good, but we’re not magical. Quality is a characteristic we care about and are reluctant to sacrifice quality for speed.
One important aspect relevant to development time is communication. We have EXCELLENT communication and will keep you in the loop throughout development.
I broke my website, can you fix it?
Sure!
Many times when a website “breaks” it simply because a file was misconfigured or some code elsewhere on the website is causing a feature to misbehave.
We have the experience to diagnose any problem and fix it for you.
Fixes are usually done at our hourly rate of $125/hr since it is unknown how long it might take. PLEASE let us know your budget for a repair though so we can make sure to stay within it.
Do you offer hosting for my website?
Why yes we do!
We provide high speed hosting for only $25/month. For this reasonable price, you get a fast connection from a Virtual Private Server with over 99% uptime. In addition, we provide specialized tools to speed up your website so it loads as fast as possible!

Can I bring my own designer?
By all means. That’s AWESOME!
Many of our clients have already gone through the design process with someone else and have their whole site already laid out. Not a problem at all.
We are always happy to develop a pre-designed site. All we need is either the layout in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or Figma and we can get started.
We play very well with others and are welcoming to any designers for a project. We certainly know a thing or two about teamwork and happy to collaborate.
I only need some updates. Can you do it for me?

Can you speed up my website?

Speeding up a website involves a number of factors, a lot of small tweaks, and a little luck.
For a fast website you need:
- Your images compressed
- Adaptive images so the right size image is served to the viewer
- A good CDN for graphics (Content Delivery Network)
- Browser caching
- HTML and CSS Minification
- A fast server (NOT Shared Hosting!)
- And other tweaks.

Can I update my website myself?
Definitely.
We like to use tools that allow for clients to do minor updates themselves rather than spending time and money to have others do it. (Don’t get me wrong, we’re happy to update your site for you if you don’t want to deal with it.)
Once your site is done, we are happy to record a couple videos to show you how to make textual changes on pages, swap out images, or update prices.
WordPress also has frequent security updates that need to be applied and those are also easy for you to do to keep your site current and safe.
I had a horrible developer that left me stranded, can you finish my website?
Ugh. Nothing is worse than a developer who has ghosted you.
